La Traversine and the Half Way House, two Transgardens educational gardens: one in France, the other in South Africa.
The first is an urban garden, developed on the roof of a Parisian kindergarten with the aim of introducing youth to the techniques of ecological agriculture, the second is a permacultural garden, created around a childcare center (Orphaned or HIV-positive) in order to offer a hot meal to these young people in difficulty and encourage them to grow their own vegetables in their garden.
This exchange aims, through an intercultural experience, to make young people travel by offering them new ways of seeing the world.
