A simple pencil case design incorporating shweshwe, the traditional fabric of Southern Africa, was created by the women of the Garden of Skills in Malanti.
The pencil cases are lined with either white or black fabric and finished with a zip fastening. This everyday item allows the young trainees in the workshop to improve their sewing skills through the production of a neat, high-quality finished product.
