Every day for the past 10 years, Drawing Hope has been supporting the distribution of meals to disadvantaged and orphaned children in the township of Roosboom, located on the outskirts of Ladysmith in Kwazulu Natal.
The number of beneficiaries has doubled since the Covid pandemic, with the number of beneficiaries reaching 70 on some days. Vegetables from the garden are used to prepare meals by the Half Way House’s coordinators.
