Harvesting and preparing sweet potatoes in the Garden of Skills, Eswatini

The women in charge of the maintenance of the Garden of Skills have begun harvesting the sweet potatoes planted a few months earlier on one of the first plots of land set up on the new Malanti site.

To add value to the garden’s vegetable production, Tolaguele cooked the harvested sweet potatoes. As part of the nutrition training that will be offered at the Garden of Skills, recipes using little salt and only natural spices will be presented so that they guarantee better nutritional intake.
