The women of Fundzisa Live have installed the first garden of the “One House One Garden” program. 25 beneficiaries have been identified and will be offered a closed garden of 25m2 allowing them to develop a vegetable garden protected from animals wandering near their home.

The 7 women in charge of the project are mobilizing together, with the support of the families helped, when their state of health allows, to set up the fence.

All materials needed are delivered before their arrival, and they complete this work over 2 days. The first day is devoted to clear the plot, install the poles and seal them in cement. The second is dedicated to fix the fence, install the door, and prepare the model cultivation beds. Neighborhood women are invited to attend the second day and learn soil preparation techniques and agroecology basics.
