Distribution of dried fruit at Piggs Peak Hospital, Eswatini

posted in: Teen Club

Once a month at Piggs Peak Hospital, the young HIV-positive patients of the Teens Club come to pick up their bags of dried fruit.

These dried fruits (bananas, dates, grapes, almonds, peanuts), previously packed by the women of Fundzisa Live, represent a daily nutritional intake for these young patients. The Ivory Foundation has developed this program for young people to encourage them to come to the hospital to collect their treatment and avoid taking it on an empty stomach.
