Construction of a chicken coop at the Garden of Skills, Eswatini

The team from Wendy Lane, the company that built the wooden houses on the Garden of Skills site, came to install a chicken coop.

This henhouse is designed on the principle of an enclosure separated into 2 plots, used in turn. Thus, when one plot is used by the hens, the other is used for market gardening. After the harvest, the hens will be able to take over this enclosure, and finish eating the plants remaining on the ground, while the crops will be put in place on the other enclosure, which will have been enriched with their droppings for 6 months. The hen house is also separated in two. Thus, the house unoccupied by the hens will be used as a storage room for garden tools.
