To mark its 15th anniversary, Dessine l’Espoir’s Halfway House, which cares for vulnerable and orphaned children in the township of Roosboom, is getting a well-deserved facelift!
The house includes a kitchen, a meal distribution room, a large covered patio and a room dedicated to play activities and tutoring for the children. The latter has been completely repainted and redecorated. A new shelf has been installed to store the books and games available to the children.
In April, an extension will be added to the existing building to provide a dedicated space for tutoring and reserve the current room for educational games.
This initiative aims to provide greater comfort and tranquillity for the children.
