The foundation:
The Bel Foundation helps children by supporting projects to combat food insecurity and promote healthy eating. It finances local initiatives in countries where the Bel Group operates, also involving its employees. Since 2019, it has focused its action on school canteens to guarantee children a balanced meal at school. It sees the canteen as an essential place for nutrition and learning. The Foundation encourages sustainable projects that promote local sourcing and nutritional awareness. Its aim is to make access to a daily school meal a reality for all children.

In 2025, the Bel Foundation financed the expansion of the Halfway house in Roosboom, South Africa, which has since been managed on a daily basis by Designing Hope. Its support enabled the doubling of the cultivated area, the construction of a greenhouse and the installation of a borehole, considerably improving access to water and the garden’s productivity.
