Designing Hope has set up in Eswatini in order to fight against the stigmatisation of HIV-positive people and to raise awareness of the issues surrounding HIV and AIDS.
Thus, women supported by the Fundsiza Live association, Designing Hope’s local relay, meet every month to pack condoms in original packaging combining artwork on the theme of HIV and messages to fight against stigmatisation. These condoms are then distributed free of charge at Piggs Peak hospital. The objective is to democratize the use of condoms while spreading prevention messages. This activity is also an income-generating activity for a small group of elderly women.
