Meal distribution at Halfway House in Roosboom, South Africa

Like every day of the week, the children at Halfway House receive a hot meal prepared by Lulu and Fisani, the center’s managers.

Vegetables from the garden are used to prepare a sauce to accompany the starch, rice or pap, the traditional cornmeal.

A project funded by Designing Hope since 2011, with the support of The Ivory Foundation.
