Thanks to the fund-raising efforts of Designing Hope, the first uniforms have been distributed to the children of Half Way House in Roosboom. The tunics were sewn by the women of Jardin des Savoir-Faire in Eswatini. The women also embroidered the school logo, which can also be found on the boys’ shirts. The distribution took place on the first day of the new school year, allowing these underprivileged youngsters to proudly display their brand-new uniforms, and to blur their social differences from other children.
