In Levi’s Nek, Lesotho, a condom-packing activity brings together a group of village women every month at the Farming Our Future farm.
The condoms, entrusted by the Ministry of Health, are packaged in batches of four in boxes illustrated with visuals and prevention messages designed by Designing Hope, and financed by the AA Unman foundation. These cases are then distributed to the nearby hospital and to bars in the town.
This initiative enables these women to earn a small income while taking part in a public health and awareness campaign.
