As every month, a distribution of Provite was organised at Piggs Peak Hospital for the HIV-positive children being treated there.
This nutritional supplement means that they do not have to take their treatment on an empty stomach, which is unfortunately a frequent occurrence, as many go to school on an empty stomach. By boosting their diet, Provite improves their tolerance of treatment and helps to maintain their health and concentration at school.
It’s a simple action, but essential for their day-to-day well-being.
