Textile memory games made at the Garden of Skills

To complete a set of educational games about nature, the garden and biodiversity, Designing Hope asked the women of the Garden of Skills in Eswatini to make textile memory games.

One set includes printed images of fruit and vegetables; another, traditional Shweshwe fabrics, sewn into frames of plain black or beige fabric.

These games provide regular work for women trained in sewing, when they are not busy with orders for school uniforms or other creations for the local market.
